We expect all users to respect the facilities and show consideration to other users.
Casual bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance of activity.
Cancellations must be made as soon as possible. Wells Blue Sports Centre Ltd reserves the right to charge users for cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice.
All bookings include a 5 minute change over period at the end of the booking so 1 hour bookings provide 55 minutes of activity.
It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that they arrive at the Sports Centre within good time. Users who arrive late may only be able to use facilities up until the end of booked session.
Bookings must be paid for before the activity commences. Courses, Birthday Parties and Holiday Club must be paid for on booking to confirm places.
We recommend all users book on an activity in advance to guarantee a space. In the event of any unforeseen circumstance we are then able to notify booked on users.
Full rate will be charged at peak time (weekdays 17.00-22.00) for court bookings that include an adult in the party. Off peak rates (everyday 09.00-16.45), are available and charged on a per person basis.
The use of photographic, sound recording, video recording is prohibited without prior permission from a Duty Officer. All birthday parties are permitted to take photos.
Wells Blue Sports Centre does not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings; this includes vehicles parked in the car park. We advise members of the public to store personal belongings and valuables in lockers provided in upstairs changing room. Lockers are emptied at the end of each night and any possessions left placed in lost property for a short period of time.
All users attending an exercise class or a gym induction for the first time are expected to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. Thereafter we request an instructor is informed of any changes in health or medication prior to exercise.
Wells Blue Sport Centre reserves the right to change prices, terms and conditions and activity programmes sometimes at short notice.
Booking is advised to avoid disappointment as all classes have maximum participation numbers. We will endeavour to contact all customers booked in to a class in the event of class cancellation or any change to the class time.
Spaces can be booked up to 6 days in advance, other than those attending a class who have the opportunity to book for the following week and therefore retain their place.
Payment must be made before commencement of the class.
Any user who is more than 10 minutes late for an exercise class will not be permitted to attend due to the increased risk of muscle strain and injury.
Courses will run subject to attendance. In the event of Wells Blue Sports Centre cancelling a course a refund will be offered.
A refund will not be available once a course has commenced. In the event of an injury or illness preventing attendance we request a letter or email to be sent to the Centre Manager. A doctor’s note may be required.
Users booked onto a course have limited priority to book onto the next course before remaining spaces are available to the general public. A deadline booking date will be set for all courses. Payment must be received on booking to ensure a space. Requests for leniency may be made to the Centre Manager.
We regret that once a course or class reaches its maximum capacity any unbooked user will be unable to attend.
We expect all fitness members to use the facilities in a responsible and safe manner.
Membership cards must be swiped before accessing the fitness facilities.
Wells Blue Sports Centre reserves the right to refuse admission or membership.
All fitness members must be inducted within our fitness facility prior to use. Members may only use equipment they have been inducted to use. Members are welcome to contact a staff member to re-induct them on any equipment.
Concessionary members will be required to produce proof of status when requested to ensure concessionary rate still applies. Senior citizens will not be asked to prove status.
We do not impose a contract on Direct Debit fitness members. Any member wishing to cancel must give 4 weeks written notice. Any amount due within this notice period is subject to payment. Membership will expire at the end of the payment month.
Members who have cancelled a monthly membership are welcome to use the facility on a pay as you train basis thereafter.
Annual memberships are not refundable. In the event of an injury or illness preventing attendance we request a letter or email to be sent to the Centre Manager.
Annual memberships will expire after 12 months.
The maximum user capacity in the weights room is 15 members. We request all weights room users replace weights and dumbbells after use to maintain a tidy environment.
Members must do their utmost to ensure personal safety for themselves and others. The use of secondary spotters on the smith machine and safety bars on the weights rack is expected.
The Centre is open to the public during the times stated above. The fitness suite and weights room are open throughout our opening hours. Between 09.00-15.30 during term time weekdays, other facilities are subject to availability.
